Proof of Concept is Lugh's first effort as a solo artist.

Released in May 2021 the EP represents a welcome return to music after a decade-long hiatus for this artist, whose experience dates back to the 2000's as a member of cult bands of the Dublin alternative scene such as Fifteen Minutes and Dirty Car Tape Bastards.

Proof of Concept has received favourable reviews by the music bloggers who praised its cool mix of retro sound textures, indie slacker tones and shoegaze dreamscapes.
